Icons on the (time-dependent) planboard

Some explanation on the icons/buttons that are present on the time dependent plan board. They're all highlighted on this picture.

(1) Edit your (selected) vehicle(s)

(2) Clear your (selected) route(s). With this key, you're not deleting a vehicle, you're just removing all the orders from that vehicle.

(3) Lock/unlock your routes, which means keeping the route (vehicle + orders) as presented at that time, even if a better plan could be find later on during further optimization.

(4) Hide / unhide the selected routes on the map

(5) Show actual route on the road.*

(6) Re-optimize your route for one second

(7) Reverse your route. Reverse the sequence in which the orders are planned.

(8) Swap your vehicles. This can only be done when 2 routes are selected.

(9) Lock the selected vehicle(s) in time

(10) Start a new vehicle

(11) Export your planned routes. When clicking this button, a new popup window will appear in which you will be able to indicate which planned routes should be included in the export file, what the name of the export file must be and if the format should be Excel. A picture is included in the section Time Dependent Plan Board#Export Planning of the page Time dependent plan board.

(12) Filter your routes. In this filter box, multiple types of filter can be supplied. You might be searching for a driver name, for a specific order id, for orders located in a specific city... Multiple search terms can be entered at the same time. All routes matching one of the filters will be shown, meaning multiple search terms are combined via an OR operator.

(13) Selection box for the route(s)

(14) Hide/unhide route(s) on the map. More information about (un)hiding routes on the map can be found on the page (Un)Hiding routes on the map.

(15) Should any restrictions be violated then this icon would turn red.

(16) Selection. With the Selection button, orders that are planned within a specified time range are selected. This can be used to lock a selection of orders on their routes, modify the orders, remove them, ... An demonstration is presented in the section Toggle your Selection of the page Time dependent plan board.

(17) Turn on the time-dependent view of the planboard

(18) Zoom in/out on the timeline

(19) Collapse/Expand the orders on a route on the planboard. To reduce load on the planboard routes are collapsible. This will hide all orders inside that route and only show the start depot, the end depot and the number of orders in between. A user can than expand the route to see more details. When no routes are selected, these buttons will expand or collapse all routes. When collapsed it’s also possible to expand the current route by clicking the middle block that show the amount of orders. Users will have the possibility to collapse the routes inside the planboard by default. This by updating their preferences and checking the ‘Collapse routes in new plan board’ checkbox.

( * )The colors in an actual route indicate if a route is subject to road taxes or not. The red routes are subject to road taxes. The blue routes are not subject to road taxes.
