When uploading an order or a vehicle set PTV OptiFlow will match the columns in the uploaded file with the expected fields based on the name in the header of the column (first row of the excel file).
If one or more columns cannot be matched by PTV OptiFlow, a pop-up appears in which the user can manually select the matching field for each column.
In the column on the left, the headers from the uploaded excel file are shown
In the column on the right, the corresponding field in PTV OptiFlow can be chosen
For each column, a green or red circle is shown to indicate whether the column has been mapped or not
PTV OptiFlow will remember the mapping the user chose and will use this mapping when uploading a new file using the same headers.
If all columns can be matched, the popup will not appear.
Examples
Example Order upload
The order set contains a column 'custom' which is not recognized by PTV OptiFlow. This is a custom field we want to add. Therefore, we choose to map this as a 'custom column'.
Example Vehicle Upload
The vehicle set contains a column 'custom' which is not recognized by PTV OptiFlow. This is a custom field we want to add. Therefore, we choose to map this as a custom column.
