(Deprecated) Run multiple plannings/Queue functionality
USER GUIDE |
---|
The Queue function is deprecated & is not available for new users. With a PowEr contract, it is possible to run multiple plannings in parallel.
When selecting an order set and a vehicle set and specifying the settings, the planner is ready to start optimizing.
If the planner wants to create another planning, the planner can wait until the first planning has finished and repeat this proces.
However, the planner does not have to wait until the first planning has finished to prepare the orders, vehicles and settings for the next planning. If the planner wants to prepare another planning, he/she can add the planning to the queue instead of running it immediately. This accounts for plannings that have already been created too; planners can resume a planning by selecting 'continue' or by queuing it with the button 'queue'.
The planning will start optimizing while the planner prepares the data for the next planning.
The user can enter a suitable planning name.
The planning will be added to the list of plannings in the home tab, where the status of each planning is also shown.
When a planning of the queue has reached the end of the run time (specified in the settings), the next planning in the queue will start optimizing and so on.
A planning can also be removed from the queue before the optimization has started. The user should select this planning and click on remove.
The amount of plannings that can be added to the queue depends on the settings that were configured for that user.
